Drinks masterclasses at Ruby’s Bar in Padstow, the perfect Gin and Tonic will be the topic on Tuesday 2nd and Tuesday 16th April 5-6pm £15 pp. There are over 30 gins to sample and you will learn from the expert bar team about the variety of gins and how to select the perfect garnish, and there will be tastings along the way! http://www.rickstein.com

Charity supper for Shelterbox at The Cornish Arms, St Merryn  3 courses for £14.95 plus a £2.50 donation, Monday – Wednesday until 27th March. The pub is about a 10 minute drive from Little Egret, Porthilly View, Padstow.

Welsh rarebit, red onion jam and salad

All sounds very yummy and it is for a very good cause.

Easter at Eden 6th -25th April!

The Eden Project is only 40 minutes drive from Little Egret, Porthilly View, Padstow, it is a great day out for all the family.

Head for the Eden project for a fun packed day out at a farm themed Easter event. Take part in a Golden Egg hunt with a difference and gather up eggs from the egg coup! There will be a giant scramble course and special chocolate treats and much much more! http://www.edenproject.com

Porthleven Food and Music Festival 26th -28th April

The food and music festival is held around the stunning harbour port of Porthleven, with chef’s theatre, food stalls, street food and lots of music! Porthleven is about an hour’s drive from Little Egret, Porthilly View, Padstow. http://www.porthlevenfoodfestival.com

St Endellion Music Festival 13th-21st April  

Glorious music in the beautiful St Endellion Church. Listen to the works of Mendelssohn, Bach, Mozart, Shostakovich and many more composers. There will also be a late night jazz and folk concert based around negro spirituals. St Endellion is a 30 minute drive from Little Egret, Porthilly View, Padstow www.endellionfestivals.org

The Camel Trail 

Get on your bike and cycle the scenic camel trail all the way to Bodmin or Wenford Bridge. If you stay at Little Egret, Porthilly View, Padstow you can cycle from the doorstep and store your bikes safely in the spacious garage. You can hire bikes from 2 cycle shops nearby. Or if you prefer you can walk the Camel Trail and look out for Little Egrets at low tide!
