Places to Eat

There is so much choice of where and what to eat in and around Padstow, from a delicious Cornish cream tea in a harbour side café or Rick Stein’s upmarket takeaway fish and chips (it is dressed with a slice of lemon and a sprig of parsley!) to fine dining in a Michelin star restaurant.

Here are some suggestions based on where we as a family have eaten and enjoyed good, well presented food with good service and a pleasing ambience.

The Seafood Restaurant

Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant needs no introduction, it certainly lived up to our expectations. Book well in advance for summer Tel: 01841 532700 http://www.rickstein.com

The Café

Rick’s café is well worth a visit but again book early as it is a small café and gets very busy in the summer. The café is cosy, informal and reasonably priced and we like it a lot! Tel: 01841 532700 www.rickstein.com
